Monthly Fascia Conditioning Class with Body by Pilates

CONQUER YOUR PAIN

What if there were a way to manage or eliminate your chronic pain, no matter what the cause?  Conditioning your fascia is the answer.

Fascia, or connective tissue, has been described as the most pervasive tissue in the body, representing a three-dimensional network from head to toe.  It is made of collagen, elastin and other fibers that are bathed in a cellular fluid.  This incredible and under-rated body system:

  • surrounds every structure, including bones, organs, muscles, and nerves

  • makes up the fluid environment around every cell

  • is where most of your sensory nerves live and work

  • permits transportation of oxygen, nutrients and waste from cell to cell

  • serves to insulate and reduce friction between body structures, including muscles in motion

  • maintains your body's structure

You will learn self-treatment techniques to ease many of the issues that cause pain, including inflammation, sleep issues, anxiety, and digestive problems.
